Story about 4 best friends who happen to be “First Ladies” of large multicultural churches.

First Lady Bryn Reese-Johnson, the confident ambitious wife of Bishop Hayden Johnson. Married 18 years, they are the proud parents of twin daughters, Gabrielle, and Giselle.

Bryn has secretly seen a psychologist for the past several months. Even though she is a nationally known evangelist, she is fighting demons of her own on a daily basis. Not to mention that Hayden has inclination towards violent behavior if things don’t go his way.

First Lady Hope Washington, gorgeous, long haired and high yellow.  Even her size twenty-two frame didn’t stop her from snaring one of the most eligible bachelor bishops available. Bishop Clancy Washington, the sixty eight year old widower. It wasn't long before the lovely Hope convinced him that he needed to end the grieving process and move on with his life. His deceased wife would want it that way. Hope had heard all the clichés about older men and younger women, but she thought she could really make it work, but now she’s having second thoughts.  Designer bags, shoes and clothes don’t make up for her husband’s inadequacies and his long absences from home. And now a chance visit to an online gambling site has opened a door to trouble. Is there any hope for this marriage?

First Lady Savannah, college educated wife of Brice Middlebury is frustrated. She loves her husband and the church, but she feels so overwhelmed and helpless. Raising three small boys by itself is a daunting task, but throw in a growing church and an over worked husband, an aging cynical overbearing mother-in-law and the results cannot be good. Too many nights she’s forced to go to bed tired and unfulfilled. Savannah would probably make it through the crisis just fine, but she has an interested onlooker who is all too eager to help. Trouble is he wants to help too much, help himself right into Brice’s place.

First Lady Leann Tillman has been happily married to her husband, Bishop Nelson Tillman for ten wonderful years. But now she’s bored. Her inability to have children and Nelson’s reluctance to adopt has made her slightly bitter. Tamala, Leann’s best friend from college days is always available to point out Nelson’s shortcomings. It almost seems as if she has a hidden agenda, but unfortunately this isn't  to oblivious to Savannah. Hopefully she’ll discover who really loves her.

The Bishop's Wife

Bishop Carl Anthony Willis the is the charismatic  dynamic leader of Ebenezer Apostolic Church, one of the largest multicultural churches in Indianapolis Indiana. His life couldn't be any more blessed. He's happily married to the lovely Maria, his college sweet heart, his three children are all involved in the ministry, and his church family is experiencing its biggest growth spurt ever.

Then with one phone call it changed. His lovely wife Maria was gone. Bishop Willis tries to settle down in his topsy-turvy world, but soon he determines that that's easier said than done, especially after he meets the lovely Desiree Washington. 

Can this relationship survive evil church folks, Bishop's bitter son, and Desiree's past?
